Stellar Blade got a day one censorship patch. This comes only a few days after they promised it would be uncensored globally. Predictably, the censorship isn’t anywhere near enough to actually win Sony any brownie points from the psychotic game journos. What they were angry at wasn’t Eve’s clothes, it’s her existence.

The amount of bullshit thats happening with this game is stunning. Patched Spray “Hard” R, clothes got more fabric to cover more up and gore was toned down.

They had to do one thing to fully and utterly succeed: leave the game as is and they failed. They lied to customer base and unless they do a full 180 they name will be completely smeared for all history.

I was looking forward to the game, but didn’t pre order because i have been burned too often and that caution just proved to be the right choice.

Well, HELLDIVERS II officially just pulled the biggest 5d-SEEGMA-MAYLE-Chess-move I’ve ever seen.

I think the absolute scummiest part of this is that they sold the game in countries that don’t even have PSN available, so there’s no legal way to keep playing the game their customers paid for.

Ghost of Tsushima’s PC release has been pulled from countries that don’t have PSN. The previous word had been that the PSN mandate was only going to be for the tacked-on multiplayer mode, but that anyone could play the main game.

Well, Helldivers 2’s PSN link requirement has been scaled back AFAIK.

Whelp, I need a distraction from the ongoing and totally-not-over Controver-SONY going on with HELLDIVERS II right now. XP

Yes, I know harping on about the race of the main characters is cringe, but the progressives started it and this game prides itself on historical authenticity-as hilariously delusional as that praise has been for the entire series-so I think it’s fair game to mention it.

I saw morons like Keef slobbering over this because of the obvious. They couldn’t justify a random black guy in Japan. I would say this is just distain against the Japanese, but Ubisoft has revised history a dozen times in Ass creed.

Ubisoft has revised or forgotten their own lore at least as much. In just the first game, you learn that the whole world runs on a DC electrical grid because the Templars put their thumb on Edison’s side of the scale in the current wars. Mexico has shut down and fortified their Northern border to stem the flow of refugees from the U.S. after the American economy suffered a collapse. The world is regularly ravaged by century storms that hit several times a year, and over 95% of the African population is dead from a mysterious epidemic, to the point that the remaining Africans are on the verge of losing their national identities to the rest of the world’s plan to settle all of that empty real estate. And Hollywood is shut down because movies are no longer a profitable industry.

The view you get of the modern world in later games doesn’t bear any of that world building out. Especially not during the Abstergo Entertainment games, where you hang out in that idealized Montreal with the hipster coworkers that bring toys to the office.

It doesn’t even feel like Assassins vs. Templar anymore. It’s just throw things at the wall. Don’t forget the pre-order the super edition for $999.99! Notice how all the “diverse” things by “progressive” companies seem to be followed by gouging the consumer for every cent they can squeeze?

But, as they say we shouldn’t believe our lying eyes and leave the multimillion dollar corporation alone.

They lost my faith after Mirage. Who the fuck asked for teleportation magic chain assassinations? Not to mention the copy paste combat and parkour from Valhalla.
The RPG ass creeds might be okay if you forget they’re supposed to be assassin’s creed, but if mirage was their attempt at making a real assassin’s creed then they have no fucking clue how to make one anymore.

It literally isn’t Assassins vs Templar anymore, remember?

They decided that it wasn’t enough for them to re-write the history from the Crusades and onwards, they wanted to write historical revisionism as far back as the Fall of the Roman Republic at least. So now it’s “Muh Hiddun Uns” vs “Muh Orduh”.

And apparently, both groups kept those names around with a ideological philosophical disagreement as vague as “We want power” vs “No, bad!” for centuries, until around the time of the Third Crusade at which point both groups serendipitously decided to rebrand and update their logo.

Assassin’s Creed is no longer about well, being an assassin anymore. It’s just Creed.
