To refocus the thread, here’s an unpopular opinion: I don’t like almonds, pecans, or walnuts. Peanuts are fine, especially,when salted, and cashews are tolerable, but not the aforementioned nuts.

I think they were more surprised that you didn’t like a ubiquitous food item than anything you could have ever said about a video game, and then that took over the conversation. Opinions about video games are a dime a dozen these days.
