I think they were more surprised that you didn’t like a ubiquitous food item than anything you could have ever said about a video game, and then that took over the conversation. Opinions about video games are a dime a dozen these days.
Or perhaps some of them haven’t played it? I haven’t, so I have no opinion on the issue.

Both Russia and Ukraine should exist. Why not just split Crimea in half: Svestpol in the southwest through most of the eastern regions go to Russia, while the North, Northwest and other parts go to Ukraine.

  2. Western Ukraine is made its own country to reduce its influence over rest of Ukraine.

I think they should just split Ukraine down the Dnieper. It’s a natural border which roughly approximates the pro- and anti- Russia populations within Ukraine, lets Russia have Crimea without completely depriving Ukraine of a coastline, and Russia already controls much of that territory already.

I wish Vladimir Putin would build a cobalt Tsar Bomba and drop it on San Jose. Completely glass the city and its suburbs, killing everyone who lives and/or works there. Leave all of Santa Clara County uninhabitable for generations, with anyone foolish enough to attempt to scavenge the ruins dying of acute radiation poisoning within hours. If radiation makes people drop dead all the way up in Berkeley, even better.
Hell, build another and hit Los Angeles too for good measure. At the same time. And maybe Seattle as well.
If he actually did that, (most of) humanity would hail him as a saint and adore him forever. The humans who matter, at least.
